Presidential Press Secretary George Reedy disclosed that the Pre~ident is "sufficiently concerned" about the price boosts tow~ to know all about them. Reedy added that Dr. Gardner Ackley, chairman of the Preaident•e council of Economic Advisers, will undertake a study or the situation and report directly to the President. If there is to be any government action with regard to steel prices, said Mr. Reedy, lt will be up to Dr. Ackley to recommend it.
