And then there* s the travel advertising in which
we see handsome illustrations of pleasant warm weather scenes.
One advertisement shows us an old-fashioned scene
on the balmy shores of Florida. Another gives us an Hawaiian
dance with the moon peeping over a hill on a South Sea Isle.
And there are beautiful panoramas of California, and scenes on
shipboard and passengers boarding airplanes bound for some
balmy sunny clime. And than there is a great deal about winter
sports in Canada, because Canada is a vacation Mecca at all
seasons.
To tell you the truth, I have read hardly a line in
the new Digest. 11 ve been busy going through it, looking at
the pictures and traveling in imagination to all those
fascinating winter resorts.
