A man claimed that an automobile hit him and that, as a result of the injury, he was paralyzed from the waist down. demanded lots of money from the insurance company. Honest and competent doctors certified that he was actually paralyzed. Mike Fiaschetti recognized the man as an old time insurance trickster from New York. Something about those long white whiskers didn’t seem natural. So the teller then checked up the signature on the letter and smelled a rat.
