There have been Deans of Canterbury - since . the Middle Ages. Always known as - pillars of English tradition. First, because of their c0Mectl01 with - Canterbury Cathedral. Secondly, because the Dean la head of Kings College - a posh public school 1n Canterbury. Or "private school" - if you're using the American idiom. It seemed appropriate today, when the Dean of Canterbury - stopped a movie camera. Reason - the extras portraying school boys.
