If Nasser refuses to talk business .. then the question should be placed , before the UnitedNations. SUEZ PILOTS In Washington, we hear about Americans - wanting to take jobs as canal pilots. Teh - applying for passports to go to Egypt. The State Department - now considering the requests. Which will be refused, or granted - in accordance with American Suez policy. The Egyptian government advertised in New York and San Francisco newspapers - for American pilots to take jobs at Suez. Offering - between nine hundred and fourteen hundred dollara a month, plus housing and other benefits. In Egyptian spokesman says that some twe~ty have already been engaged.
