Money Ranks Marist Among the Nation’s Top Colleges

August 28, 2023 — Marist has once again been recognized as one of the nation's Best Colleges in the latest survey from Money, a personal finance digital platform. The rating features a comprehensive evaluation of four-year institutions, focusing on educational quality, affordability, and student achievement. 

Marist has consistently received recognition from the publication for being among the colleges that provide the best value, highlighting an exceptional education that equips students for successful careers and tuition at an affordable cost. Marist enhances affordability through a diverse range of financial aid opportunities. 90% of Marist students receive some form of financial assistance. The President’s Fund for Equity in the Marist Experience supports internships, attachment programs such as courses that include a travel component, and individual tutoring. Awards are intended for undergraduates where financial constraints are a barrier to their participation in enrichment and experiential-learning activities.

Rooted in the liberal arts tradition but uniquely combining professional training through extensive experiential learning opportunities, Marist features more than 90 programs of study. 95% of Marist students either secure employment or continue their education in graduate school within six months of graduation.

Marist was also recently recognized in The Princeton Review’s guide for The Best 389 Colleges for 2024 and earned special accolades around student satisfaction, happiness, and residential life.
