Anthony Proia, Director of Media Relations

May 15, 2023 — The School of Management’s Advisory Board and the Office of College Advancement are proud to host “Conversations on Investment Strategies” at a June 1 event in New York City with executives from two leading investment strategy firms. Dennis DeBusschere, President and Chief Market Strategist at 22V Research, and Rich Ross, Head of Technical Analysis at Evercore ISI, will participate in the conversation, which will be moderated by Marist Professor of Finance, Brian Haughey.

DeBusschere and Ross are featured commentators on CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and Yahoo! Finance. They will share their insights on investment strategy, quantitative and policy research, technical analysis, and economic projections.

“Conversations on Investment Strategies” will take place on Thursday, June 1 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at 180 Central Park South, New York, NY 10019. Limited tickets are available.

  • Please register online by Friday, May 26.
  • Proceeds from the event will support the School of Management Advisory Board’s Endowed Scholarship, which benefits future generations of Marist students.

"I am excited to be taking part in this event that will allow the Marist community to hear from two of Wall Street's most highly rated and influential market analysts. Rich Ross is ranked as the top technical analyst by Institutional Investor, while Dennis DeBusschere is ranked as one of the top portfolio strategists,” said Haughey. “At a time of great uncertainty and market volatility, the opportunity to hear Rich and Dennis share their perspectives on the market is one not to be missed."

Brian Haughey, Professor of Finance

This special event also will provide a unique networking opportunity for both Marist alumni and students interested in finance, while promoting the School of Management’s Mentorship Program and supporting the Advisory Board’s Endowed Scholarship. The mentorship program matches current Marist students with an alumni mentor and prepares them for successful careers after graduation and years beyond. Read the recent profile on Tyler Street '24, whose participation in the mentorship program helped land him a coveted summer internship this year at Goldman Sachs.

Those who cannot attend the event can still donate directly to the School of Management Advisory Board Endowed Scholarship Fund.
