First lay resident students

Description

the first contingent of resident lay students (meaning students who were not Marist Brothers) were housed in Fall 1959 at the Kings Court Hotel on Cannon Street. When that arrangement proved unsatisfactory, they were moved on campus to Saint Mary's dormitory, just below the old Novitiate building (the original Bech house)
