Formal photo of the graduating class from Marist Preparatory, June 1965. Photo was taken outside the main building, which was originally part of the estate of Fahnestock, located along Route 301 in Putnam County between routes 9 and the Taconic Parkway. Brother Denis Damian Hyndsman, principal, is pictured in center of first row. He was a graduate of Mount St. Michael Academy in the Bronx and then served in the Navy during World War II. He entered the Brothers and graduated from Marist College in the class of 1952. Sean Sammon, valedictorian stands just behind the Principal, and Jim Guldner stands at Sammon's right.
