"The Arabian Army was divided into two parts. There were the regulars and the irregulars. Here we see some of the regulars marching by. All of these regulars were deserters from the Turkish Army! In this regular force they distinguished between corporals and sergeants in a rather unusual way. The corporals wore one wrist watch, the sergeants wore two!”

-Lowell Thomas
