Princeton's freshman crew paints a 60 foot "P" at Marietta, OH

The Regatta moved to Marietta, OH in 1950, never to return to Poughkeepsie, but the tradition of painting letters as done by Princeton's freshmen in this photo was one started at Poughkeepsie on the rocks on the Highland or west side of the River bank
