While participating in the Poughkeepsie Regatta, universities needed accommodations for both their equipment and crews. The communities of Poughkeepsie and Highland on each side of the Hudson River course would host crews in private residences, boarding houses, schools, and hotels. Boathouses were often built for the crews each year until they began building permanent facilities along "Regatta Row." The images on this page are predominently the different establishments that served as crew quarters throughout the tenure of the Poughkeepsie Regatta. Each image lists the university and the year(s) it was utilized along with the date of the image.
