The Poughkeepsie Regatta Collection contains a number of items from the history of rowing that are not specific to a university or the Regatta itself, but  demonstrates how widespread interest in the sport was at the time.  There are several pieces of equipment, advertisements, articles, and more that showcase the history of rowing as a sport.
